谢虎是京剧《州庙》中的主角。李煜之徒谢虎在任丘市，因采花杀死周荣之女、蒋旺之妻，留一枝桃花于壁而去。施世纶至，黄天霸自请访拿，遇旧友神眼计全，计全告系谢虎所为。王殿臣、郭起凤助黄追踪，至鄚州庙恰遇谢虎，黄欲与格斗，谢虎知黄善金镖，约言不得用暗器，黄中计，被谢用毒镖打伤，朱光祖等至，谢虎逃走。
