徐明善，字志友，号芳谷，德兴市（一作鄱阳县）人。生卒年均不详。约孛儿只斤·忽必烈至元宋前后在世，与弟嘉善县以理学名，时称“二徐”。至元中，官隆兴教授。又为江西省儒粤提举。尝奉使安南。历主江浙湖广三省考试，拔黄潜于弃卷中，识鉴为当世所称。明善著有《芳谷集》二卷，《钦定四库全书总目》称其文平正笃实。
