奉化军是五代十国后唐同光元年(923)设立，治清苑区县(保定市东北马庄一带),天成三年(928)升奉化军为泰州，仍治清苑。后周显德六年(959)废。

南唐置

升元三年（939），江州改名奉化军，治设九江市区桂林桥。北宋初废。
