紫苜酚是一种天然的羟基香豆素衍生物。

（dicoumarol）一种天然的羟基香豆素衍生物（见香豆素），分子式

C19H12O6。存在于苜蓿、草头、车轴草属等植物的鲜草或腐草中。1941 年由H.A.

坎贝尔从白花草木犀中得到。紫苜蓿酚为微红色结晶；味略苦；熔点288～

292℃；能溶于碱、吡啶，略溶于苯、三氯甲烷，不溶于水、醇和醚中。紫苜蓿酚

在兔、大鼠、豚鼠和狗身上有抗凝血药作用。
