杨楠，字志田，周至县人，明万历二十二年（1594）拔贡，任龙安府同知。主张为学以研讨心性为本，以张载等历史著名学者自比。

在河南省任职时，赈救饥荒；在山西省任职时，妥善调解民间纠纷；在四川省任职时，保守危城，俱有政绩。后辞官归家，与长安冯从吾，渭上史莲勺，岐阳张心虞等人讲学于南山。著有《克已药言》   。
