苗市腊肉生产于龙山县洗车河镇流域，以苗儿滩镇最为出名，该产品以土家人特殊的淹制和熏烤，工艺复杂，其色泽红艳，香味浓厚，质地不亚于金华火腿，可蒸，可烤、可煮，食法多样，其生产以千家万户为主，年产量约1700吨，目前尚未集约化生产，产品在周边久负盛名，尤其在省内销售看好。生产厂家仅有老槐实业有限公司和榜爷腊味厂。
