公交车的区间是指只运行其线路的一段，是有选择的行程。譬如，原来该公交车行程是A和B之间，而A和B之间的两个站（C站和D站）之间乘客最多，所以，公交部门除了正常发A和B之间的车次外，还专门加发C和D之间的区间公交车。

区间是指一段距离范围或空间范围。比如人体腋下温度为36.5℃。但正常值是：36.0℃-37.0℃。这个36.0℃-37.0℃就是正常范围值区间。
