城阳县，秦置城阳县，治所在今平桥区长台关楚王城遗址。西汉汉属汝南郡，王莽改名新利，东汉废。萧衍复置，仍属汝南郡。北魏为城阳郡治所。东魏为西楚州治所。隋开皇初废。
