鞘翅目(Coleoptera)窃蠹科(Anobiidae)钻孔昆虫，学名为Xestobium refuvillosum。在旧家俱或木中钻孔时，头或大腭碰撞坑道壁而发出卡塔声。这声音其实是求偶的信号，但按迷信的说法，这预兆死亡即将来临。得名自「看护」垂死病人的人所常听到的餐具桌声响。体长1∼9公釐(不到1/2)，圆柱形。受惊时缩足装死。
