秦子忱，为清代小说家，约公元一七九五年前后在世，名不详，号雪坞，陇西县人。

历任职务

生卒年均不详，约清高宗乾隆末前后在世。官州都司。

个人创作

子忱尝作《续红楼梦》三十卷，《中国通俗小说书目》系自百二十回本中林黛玉死后写起，既非续八十回本，亦非续百二十回本，立意殊属无谓。
