在加工过程中加入到聚合物中，与聚合物及其他组分不起化学反应，只是物理地分散于阻燃物体系中而增加阻燃性的添加剂。如水合氧化铝、三氧化二锑、氢氧化镁、磷酸氢二铵、氯化石蜡、磷酸三(氯乙基)、十溴二苯醚等。此添加剂在使用上简便，但必须考虑其分散性、相容性和界面性等。
