辽宁省大连市金州区西南海中有二岛南北对峙，名双岛。袁崇焕斩毛文龙处。

山东双岛

在山东省威海市与烟台市相邻的两个小村合称为双岛，并且分前双岛和后双岛。2009年11月，在此境内的双岛跨海大桥发生了一起特大交通事故，共造成13人丧生。

旅顺双岛

旅顺有双岛湾镇，景色优美，也简称双岛。
