又称1,2,5,8-四羟。

红色针状晶体，具绿色金属光泽。极微溶于多种溶剂，不溶于水。在碱性水溶液中呈红紫色，醋酸溶液中为黄色，硫酸中为蓝紫色。

测定铍、镁、钙、铝、硼等的试剂。
