遗址在台儿庄区兰城乡西兰城村西南，中心遗址高约1.5米，南北长约250米，东西宽约200米。在考古调查中，采集到各类标本250余片，可辨器形有钵、豆、形杯、鼎等。多系夹砂红陶或泥质红陶、饰划纹、篮纹、乳钉纹、窝纹等，亦有少量软陶泥，另有石铲、石刀、鹿角器、鱼镖等物。其年代 为新石器时代大汶口文化时期。
