大居安位于西安市长安区郭杜街办所在地东南2公里潏河北岸。

基本介绍

《新唐书》记载，正德二年（公元757年）“安史之乱”中，唐军由太子李椒为元帅、郭子仪为副元帅，率军十五万，号称二十万，迂回至潏河一带，向北进取长安。安庆绪派安守忠守长安，安守忠率军十万阻击。在居安坊一场恶战，唐军杀敌六万，遂收复长安，是历史上著名战役。清嘉庆《长安县志》记为大居安坊、西居安坊。
