湖上村隶属于福建省泉州安溪县湖上乡，湖上乡政府驻地，海拔670米。因地处湖头之上，故名。村委会设在石吟头，辖13个村。

村里有石灰石矿，历来以烧石灰闻名。村民主要为苏、林姓。

石吟头　因地处一小山，岩石纵横如岭，故原名石任头。

湖上乡湖上村彭氏祠堂，建于2013年，原祠堂建于明代，距今500多年，后改为他用
