​位于山东省微山县留庄镇境内，在留庄西北七公里，独山湖东南部湖中，六百八十人，耕地六十亩，渔湖业村。谱载，胡氏于隆庆年间由洪洞县迁来邹县西郭东，又与清代迁此水坑旁建村，先名胡坑，后称胡西头。胡西头村委会驻地。
