2003年10月授予“广州市荣誉市民”称号。苏纪英先生在1995年投资1119万美元兴办镇泰(中国)工业有限公司，效益良好。1998年9月，经番禺区人民政府提名，番禺市第十三届人大常委会第四次会议决定，授予苏纪英先生“番禺市荣誉市民”称号。
